The last of my Danny Kaye from Charlie two in bent rusticated brandy (work pipe) on the way to work. Got a good guy to work with. Trying to smoke my samples and what is opened in jars before I open anything new.

Reached for SG Best Brown Flake but the jar was empty. I will fill that up tomorrow. Right now I'm smoking nothing. However my first bowl this morning will be Georgian Cream in my yello bole burly. The coffee is waiting to brew.

You are very welcome, and thanks again for the Burley Legal. I'd love to here your thoughts on the difference between what you're smoking and the little plug that came with it. While almost the same, the plug seemed more melded together. Every puff contained all the elements rather than whisps of individual flavors. I didn't detect the liquor casing at all but it was very smooth. Your friend did a nice press and I'm honored to have a sample. Thanks again! |

Just had a bowl of cringle flake. While smoking, I stumbled upon the retrohale by accident. I've seen it mentioned among pipe smokers but never thought to try and figure it out. I've got it down now, and I couldn't believe how the tobacco really came to life - I can usually pick out flavors pretty well, but the retrohale bumps the flavors up to another level.

Smoking some GH Kendal Mixture in a Dunhill bent brandy. Been chatting with a woman about a dog that I am interested in adopting. It's half purebred boxer and half purebred border collie. It's a five-year old uncle of my female dog. I told her that I need to see heartworm test results before I adopt him because he's been running wild on a farm all these years.  |

Weather did a complete 180 this afternoon and the sun made a surprise appearance. Took advantage of the nice weather and enjoyed a bowl of St. James flake while watching Jeremy Brett’s Sherlock Holmes. All in all a great afternoon.
