Peet's coffee. I believe the flavor is far superior to Starbucks.

Having a glass of Blanton's with my son at his place. He's a good boy. That's not the easiest stuff in the world to get. Around here, anyway.

He bought his a couple years ago, when a bottle could be had for $80. I'm glad he's a generous son to share with his old man.

It eventually got a little too spicy to me, though, for everyday drinking.

For me, it was always pricey enough to not be an everyday kinda thing. I remember, back in the 90s, saving the last of a bottle for a special occasion. Finished the last couple ounces the day my son was born. And now, he's serving it to me. Makes me smile.

The circle of life.
I think it was around $60 a bottle here. Not cheap, but I didn't go through it fast enough for it to really add up.

I'm glad I never met him! He was a bad mammajamma. And at my last job, delivering to Atwater construction, a certain boss I had to deal with always had his hair on fire, and was always a pissed off guy. It sounds like the beer is probably a lot better than some associated with that name.
