Enjoying a shaken Bombay Martini with sliced pickled okra. Comes from Texas. So, is this a "Texas-tini"? There is a nice Vodka type spirit made there. I do not know if a Gin is produced in the Lone Star State.

I do not know if a Gin is produced in the Lone Star State. There are gins made in Texas, but I won't buy it. Texas oil, beef, pickled okra, yes. I like my liquor made by the people who know what they're doing. Scotch from Scotland, Kentucky Bourbon, and English Gin. I do drink Titos because it's hard to mess up vodka. I've had some of the premium Texas whiskies and only the very expensive ones equal their proper counterparts that are available for a much cheaper price. No Texas "Bourbon" I've had is as good as Ezra Brooks.

Bombay is distilled in England. We can all rest easy. But, I'm having a bit of Evan Williams BIB, so I can rest even easier.

Vodka for me only should be either Russian or Polish. And preferably potato. Luksusowa Was my go to until moving back to FL where there was a $4.00 difference between L & Stoli. Just me.

I am told that Costco’s house branded Kirkland vodka is on par with Grey Goose, and at a fraction of the price.

Vodka either is OK or bad to me. Titos isn't bad. Neither is Smirnoff or Popov. I've had bad, but I don't remember it.

They do it right at the Radisson in Yuma, med rare prime rib on a crusty bread and good ai jus, shoestring fries are piping hot. The bartender just got a great tip, he adds horsepower to his concoctions. Tip: Whenever tipping, if you have cash, do so it helps to cut out the middleman., and puts more money in he pockets of those that deserve it.

I confess to being a bit of a heavy tipper. They work hard and they've had the heck beat out of 'em for the last year+. I try to help 'em catch up when they deserve it. I encourage others to do the same when they can.
