That's good stuff. Irish whiskey in general tends to be light and silky.

Drinking a bottle of Riesling I made back in 2018. It's the only white wine I've made that has gotten better with age.

I picked up some Kirkland's Irish Whiskey the other day. Kirkland has some phenomenal spirits that are far less expensive than the branded counterparts. Having hauled food and breaking down the pallets from shippers that had the Iconic name brand, and the store/generic brand on the same pallet opened my eyes on how many times, it is better to go for the store brand...certainly not always the case though. This reviewer's experience mirrors mine though on this one. An excerpt: www.liquor.com/articles/costco-irish-whiskey/

Too much whiskey drinking on this thread; just to be cool and different, I'm going to crack open a bottle of Magno Osborne brandy tonight. A fine brandy well worth it's price...they couldn't pay me for such good publicity!

Switched to Heaven Hill Distillery's "Mellow Corn". Straight corn whiskey, aged in Bourbon barrels four years and bottled in Bond. Nice with a splash of seltzer. At $16 per bottle, a bit easier. The prices of Irish have been rising rapidly here.

After a long acid reflux hiatus, I'm having a bit of Redbreast.
We'll see how it goes.

Sacred Stave American Single Malt Whiskey.
Distilled, aged, and bottled in Chandler Arizona.
90 Proof.
A gift from a friend or tribute from an irrigator to his Ditch Rider.
With a splash of soda.
Will never be mistaken for Highland Whisky but a damn fine impression of what a Malt should be.

Way to much of Teachers Highland Cream. Plenty of Peated Malt!!! Supposedly there is less Ardmore in the blend than there used to be. Are you a long time drinker of Teachers?
