Please share your recipe, I love street Tacos and I'm always looking for new ways! I use the thin sliced steak, milesena or something like that. Slice those into 1/4-1/2in strips. Juice of 1 lime 1 tbsp canola oil 2 tbsp soy sauce 2 tbsp chili powder 1 tbsp cumin 1 tbsp dried oregano A little grated ginger 2 cloves garlic, minced Mix all that together and marinate the meat in it the day before, then pan fry with another tbsp of oil. Mix a tbsp of cornstarch with a little water and mix it in to thicken the sauce at the end. Serve with warm flour tortillas, quartered limes, chopped cilantro, chopped red onion, and guacamole. It's super easy and really tasty Thanks buddy, That's what's on the menu next weekend . I'm really looking forward to it. It sounds delicious!!!!

Grilled Tri-Tip. And pasta salad with grilled asparagus...I took the end cuts, the middle was more rare to my liking on the second round.

Yesterday it was Jerk Chicken and cilantro rice for dinner. Today, we cleaned out the fridge and had leftovers from the 2 or 3 previous day's dinners.

There is a lot to be said for reheating great leftovers without the work, and as a result it usually tastes better! I find myself in that place often.

We, sometimes, end up of cooking more than we can eat in a given meal. Bad habit of not wanting to short change anyone at the table, I suppose. I absolutely hate throwing food away. So, a once or twice a week, we hit any leftovers that didn't make it to anyone's lunch/breakfast/snack.

I have not had the energy to cook much last couple of days.
Ground Round Burger patty last night with TVP, diced onions and diced green chilies. Steamed Zucchini.
This morning, a cold baked potato with my Turkish Coffee.

Not much interest in food when alone. Guest y'day and we had ribs. Did them in the oven. Great success. Dogs got the pan and rack. Wish I could give them the bones but too risky. For a quick lunch today, brown- wild rice mix with slices of grilled chicken breast. Does the job and takes just a coupla minutes.

snoozi next, then Zweigels red dawg, skin on, 12 mins @300f in George Foreman grill. AlCohen seeded rye instead of bun. 1 cup Musselman's smooth applesauce as side. Hot out, so 'nuther ice cream on a stick later, Jeopardy for company.

A friend of ours is a vet & animal hospital owner and told us one time most of his surgeries were removing bone splinters from dogs internals. I cringe every time I hear "I'll take them home for the dogs"

Took mom out for Chinese lunch. I swear, before we even started to eat, she requested the same place next week! Guess she bought shares at this place without telling me. Oh well, what mom wants is what she gets.

Breakfast was a three egg omelet with a diced cheese tamale, a heap O' Pico de Gallo and Vermont White Chedda! No lunch and no supper although I made a pot of Chile Con Carne with ground round, my own Bolita beans, onions and the usual seasonings. A friend made a salad for me. Cold steak and veggies:
