I try to get a rotisserie chicken when in town. Sadly, they are tiny for $8. For $11, a larger bird. Certainly not cheaper than home cooking just more convenient if in a hurry.
Nothing since breakfast. That was one egg and a slice of dry toast. Been queasy and somewhat dizzy for three days now. That Tomahawk got wrapped in foil and put away for a better day. Slept most of the day.

Sorry to hear that John, if you lived nearby I could hook you up. Happy birthday, I wish it was a better day for you.
It looks like we are expanding our routes into New Mexico to alleviate the boys out of El Paso, I know we are going to Shiprock and Farmington, if I head in your territory, we will have to share a smoke.

Thanks. My days are rocky now and have been for a while. I take them as they come and make no plans. Shiprock and Farmington are on the other side of the Continental Divide. That is a long hard drive from there to here especially in a Semi! IF you do get over this way, let me know, OK!!!!!

I don’t drive a semi anymore, a straight truck gets the job done.
In my previous job, I got pretty close to you so I know the roads, sadly I was on a tough schedule and had to work from sunup to sundown. Not the case now.. we will see!

An unarticulated long wheelbase truck would be worse crossing over the Continental Divide on that windy two lane road.

Yeah, but for residential deliveries, flying under the wire on truck routes, parking at a hotel, it is soooo much better.

I can not tell if it is Food Borne Illness or something else. Glad to read the Missus has it behind her.

nap next, the Zweigle's skin-on red dawg, 12mins @300f on GeoForeman grill. 2 slices AlCohen seeded rye instead of bun. No real condiments, just butter & slice of American cheese. Side of Musselmans smooth applesauce. To TV for 6 pm CBS local/national news feed. Later with Jeopardy as company, store brand tea & cookies

Went out with friends tonight to a nice restaurant - the Gin Mill in Decatur, Illinois.
Did something I've never done before. I sent a steak back and told them to try again.
I ordered a 16oz NY Strip - medium. What I got was a charred well done steak. My wife's pork medallions were black on the outside too - but she wouldn't send them back.
So I got to eat my sides while everyone else ate their meal, then I got to eat my steak w/o sides, while everyone else waited on me. And the second try wasn't that great either. Cooked fine, but not a quality piece of meat.
Think I'm done with that place. Not much to their menu in the first place. Huge waste of time and money.
