Thursday so bogo night at Buffalo Wild Wings. Tonight I had Asian zing and spicy garlic with plenty of left overs for tomorrow. Found out from my son a couple months ago that Thursday BOGO was a thing. We've done that a couple times. I like Asian Zing, the right amount of heat for me. I used to like the Caribbean Jerk, but its too spicy for me , anymore.

Requires a steam injector Deck Oven to do it right. Caramelizes the top layer of dough. Hot >425 degrees. Home bakers can use a spray bottle with frequent spraying. Some folks have experimented with water dripping in the oven to make steam.

The search for the perfect Breakfast Burrito has brought me the "Sweet Earth" brand of Moss Landing, California. online upload photoThe brown color is from being in a hot iron skillet following microwave warming. Eggs, potatoes, pink beans, Monterey Jack Cheese, Chipotle Chilies, and nice seasonings. Nicely mixed texture. Fine quality. $2.49 for a 7 ounce Burrito. That is the largest of them all so far.
A little pricey for me for daily consumption since El Monterey Brand is about $1 each.

Corndogs with jalapeno rings alongside mustard and ketchup mixed together. I have not had a frozen burrito in ages but one that John posted looks tasty.

The search for the perfect Breakfast Burrito has brought me the "Sweet Earth" brand of Moss Landing.
Moss Landing is between Monterey and Watsonville California, just a nudge north of Castroville. When I lived in Hollister, it wasn't uncommon for us to Drive to Salinas, pick up lettuce that was harvested that day, Spend the morning in monterey Carmel for breakfast, drive to Castroville and pick up fresh Artichokes, eat lunch at Phil's Fish market in Moss landing, and pick up fresh strawberries and Blackberries in Watsonville before heading home. I had great connections in the foodservice industry, the buyers for the company I worked for knew all the people in the industry. Everything I got was the type of stuff that headed to 5 star resorts. Connections make a difference. I do not miss living in california, but that aspect, I do miss. Phil's Fish market is a gastronomic overload. philsfishmarket.com/menu

Took mom out to her favourite Chinese Restaurant. Funny... even now, she’s still telling me how to eat my food. I could be 85 yrs old, but to my mom, I’ll still be her “little boy.
