We decided to do Chinese takeout for our Easter dinner. This way nobody had to slave over a hot oven. Good food with family: doesn’t get any better. Hope everyone had a terrific Easter Sunday!

I found some Certified Angus Chuck center steaks, made street tacos. Before the coals. After the coals.

I took some leftover turkey from today’s Easter dinner and diced it up small, sautéed it in butter and minced garlic in a cast iron skillet with red peppers, broccoli and baby carrots for supper tonight. I bought a couple new pairs of Wrangler jeans last week, and I’m back in 33/36’s slim fit 😁. Bigwoolie don’t have to mean Fatwoolie.😅

That is a great way to spend the day. It was a great day. And I forgot to mention the Mushroom Brie Bisque. I'm going to have to find a recipe for that. It was delicious! Hope you had a great day too. WHen you find that recipe, please post it or PM it to me. That sounds Out of sight! I am partial to Camembert but never thought of a Camembert Soup. I will have to reflect upon that!

I have to salute you on your reduction. Well done.

Yesterday it was eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and fresh berries for breakfast. Easter dinner was Delmonico steaks, cheesy potatoes and grilled green beans for dinner. Tonight's dinner will be tacos with chorizo and marinated flank steak.

Roast Chicken from last week in Marinara Sauce with spinach and shaved Reggiano Parmesan on whole wheat spaghetti.
I am big on one pot or one pan meals. I just cannot do the more complicated anymore.
A nice glass of red wine from Portugal.
