None of the leads in that chart have SPs in stock. Powder Valley is a very good supplier, but their only listing is for SPs at $55/1000 and these are out of stock, as they are everywhere else. Some shooters are using SRs in their handguns, even with 9mms. Keep in mind that is EXPERIMENTAL and requires some experience and extremely good judgment. Results and advice are all over the place. From “It’s fine” to “Never do it!” Personal choice and personal experience. You’re on your own. Research the topic and then make your decision. Yeah, I've been told that I can use small rifle in place of small pistol, but for now I'll pass. I'd rather use my small rifle primers for their intended purpose. Need to have plenty of that ammo on hand too. And I have used small magnum pistol primers in 9mm before, with no problem. The loads were no where near the max, so I didn't even notice any difference.

The weather geniuses have put us under a Winter Storm Watch for today an tomorrow. We'll have to see how that turns out.

I have received 14 pipes from Dino that I am going to restore, and pass along to veterans and police as per our agreement.
Thank you Dino, greatly appreciated!

70 and cloudy. With a red flag wind warning. That used to bother me. Now with my workshop/mancave I have a place to go and have my pipe. Sorry still very excited that it is finally built. 😀

Made it through another school week and am actually counting down the days until Finals. I usually start getting maudlin by this point, but this year I'm (mostly) ready to be done--for a little while, at least. I do get awfully attached to my students, and start missing them pretty quickly. Teaching is kind of like low-key parenthood, and being a dad has always been one of my favorite "jobs." Despite a death in his family, our flooring guy got the carpet in our bedrooms today. We can finally start unpacking and stop pulling clothes, towels, and bedsheets out of boxes. There's still some painting to do, but that'll happen when the princess decides on the proper shade of bluishgreyishwhitish. Moved the turtle pad in our pond and attached it to a longer rope. No matter which way the wind blows, we should be able to see it from the kitchen table & window now. It's been a week. I'm looking forward to doing nothing but listening to some low-key Jazz and smoking Yale Mixture all day tomorrow.

Almost a winter day here, staying in the mid 30s all day, overcast, grey, threatening. We are under a Winter Storm Warning and the snow was supposed to start mid-afternoon. But as yet nothing. Supposedly there should be 6-10” on the ground by tomorrow morning, and then slowly turning to rain. I am sceptical.
Received my air fryer today. I got a small one, two quarts, which should be sufficient for me. Of course, I had to try it out. Made a large single helping of french fries as I had a frozen bag of them in the freezer. Turned out very well and I am pleased with my new kitchen toy. I hope to eat more veggies with its help.
No dog run today, and they weren’t very anxious to go out for it anyway. Just as well, as I could sit, smoke a few bowls, have a glass of red in the evening, and catch up on my emails. Not a day of great accomplishment, but I’m fine with that.

My wife and I went for our 2nd doses of Pfizer vaccine this afternoon. I've taken a couple naps already. Getting the usual sore arm. Tomorrow may be a low-key day. That's okay.

Just got home from Orlando after a very emotional and long few days with the family saying goodbye to my youngest cousin Rob. RIP Buddy. I'm sure it was a tough couple of days. Hang in there, bud. ... I'm supposed to be off this week, but two people have died which means I haven't got the break I needed. I hope I've enough in me to get to the next break.

Well, left The Villages, FL yesterday the 15th at 0800. Ended up deciding to drive all the way back to central Illinois, instead of stopping around Paducah, Kentucky. Arrived home at 0055 on the 16th. With the 1 hour time change, we drove 5 minutes short of 18 hrs. The puppy went nuts when she realized she was home.

A 18 hour drive is a young mans game or a old mans demise.
