No apology necessary Urb. In fact... I’m very happy for you! I know you’ll get a lot of pleasure out of it. Besides, if you ever decide to part with it, you know it’ll have a good home with me. I know... and I’m not holding my breath! 😉 Part of the fun and frustration, is the hunt. That is a really nice Stanwell. Yes indeed! By the way, I already called dibs on Urb’s pipe. LOL... cheers.👍

Sorry about that. I'm pretty sure their listings are like SP's. They don't list "models," they list specific, individual pipes. There's always only one. No apology necessary Urb. In fact... I’m very happy for you! I know you’ll get a lot of pleasure out of it. Besides, if you ever decide to part with it, you know it’ll have a good home with me. I know... and I’m not holding my breath! 😉 There isn't a shortage of beautiful Savinelli pipes. If you can’t find any available Savinelli that you love, you aren't looking very hard.

You’re absolutely correct Ron. As my primary focus has largely been on tobacco blends, I haven’t implemented Phase 2 in my three part operation. Frag O on the way......

There was an ebay seller recently selling unsmoked early 1970's boxed Autographs. I made a few offers and ended up with this one. Autographs are all over the board, but some are gold. Here is a bad photo of mine - you can't see it, but the sandblasted part is perfect ring-grain, so this is a pretty good example of how the horizontal bits are removed on a straight-grain pipe.

Jason, haven’t tried that beard oil before. Please let me know what you think thanks. The soap is fantastic, the bar is huge and it smells amazing. I haven't tried out the beard oil yet, but one of the ingredients is actually "Buffalo Trace Bourbon", so I imagine it's going to smell amazing as well.

Beautiful pipe! Best of both worlds - ring grain and straight grain. Enjoy!

Those, plus HB compose my daily trinity. Agree that they're best on the dry side.

This is probably a pretty great time to be so. There are so many of them available.

This is probably a pretty great time to be so. There are so many of them available. Starting to enjoy Balkans/English/Latakia - but until it warms up and the wind dies down, I'll be smoking mostly indoors - so I'll mostly be smoking aromatics. Keeps the wife happy and doesn't leave a strong or bad odor behind.

My wife prefers it when I smoke strong latakia blends and coughs when I smoke certain aros.
