Well, there's good news, and bad news.
The good news is I have one of Ron's morta bulldogs on the way.
The bad news is a large order from Esterval's has gone missing. DHL says "Delivered To: different person present, Pingel" at a little after 5:00 this morning. I dunno who or what a "Pingel" is, but there is no different person present at my address. There is only me. And I sure as shite wasn't up and receiving deliveries at 5:00 in the blessed morning. I'd barely been abed an hour or so.

I got in touch with Smoking Pipes and they told me to wait a couple more days and let them know if it showed up, otherwise they would send me another pipe. Almost a week later, some guy's knocking on our front door, holding a package. My pipe was delivered to his house one street over, but with same address.
I hate reading horror stories like yours, I hope its just some silly mistake and it gets straightened out.

That happens weekly, only I am the guy with the package, and it is on the day of delivery.
It is so bad, they insisted on giving me a $50 gift card to Be enrages and More for my postal duties.

I've had that happen, too, but only once. Maybe it'll turn up. We'll see. Gosh Urb, what is it about your address or zip code that’s been causing you so much grief? Seems to me this happens to you more times then not. Having said that, I’m still waiting for my last order placed on St. Patrick’s Day. Ordered a wwii-era Peterson 307 that has Swedish hallmarks. I didn't have a smooth 307 with a silver band, so really looking forward to this one...and it's already restored by someone who I trust.  |
