I'd just like to point out I went a full day without buying a single pipe. Eat it, Lawitzke.

As I posted again in the wrong thread... I also could not resist this County 4120 (2019) that I have been drooling on for the last 3 months or so, so I grabbed it before it goes. Great blast! I’m surprised that stayed in stock somewhere for three months. Me too. I suppose such a shape is not as popular as the Billiard, Apple, Bulldog, Rhodesian and Dublin.

Matter of fact...I have evidence that it runs in my family.

Nice haul, Urb. Great smokes in your future! Thanks, Charlie. Anybody familiar with Red Stag? As I understand it, it's pure Red Virginia, sourced from Sutliffe. No idea if McCranie's does anything to it after they get it. Theirs is not the most informative web site I've ever seen. They were who had the 2 McConnell blends, and I'd heard a little bit about Red Stag before, so figured I'd get some while I was there. I mean, it's Virginia, so it should age well if nothing else, and I can mix it into other blends, probably, if it's too one-dimensional by itself.

Interesting, thanks. Smelling the bag, I get no acidic/vinegar/ketchup scent whatsoever. None. I do agree that it arrives a bit drier than most.

I've got 8oz of Rouxgaroux and 4oz of Watch City Slices on order. Earlier, I received a sweet American(Mark Tinsky) bent/paneled brandy in another order that I'll get some pics of when it is time to smoke it.
