Just arrived: watch straps!
I know, I know, off-topic, but they've been in the mail since before Xmas, with no tracking update since shortly after New Year's.
Maybe there's hope for that package from Country Squire, after all.

Waiting for some face masks that have been on hold in Atlanta since the 24th...what are they doing (USPS)?

I've been wearing a Seiko 5 the last couple of days. Maybe I won't bother with new straps.

Bugger the spring bars on their dive watches, though!

I do have several Invicta automatics, but I don't like to wear them while working in the yard.

They put beefed up spring bars on the dive watches, which is great in theory, but the nonstandard size makes it a pain to change the strap at all.

The Peterson Saint Patrick's Day pipes are available today on smokingpipes.com. I picked up the Prince shaped pipe, although I nearly went with the Rhodesian.

One of my favorites, but I’ve only smoked the bulk version. Do you find a significant difference between the tin and bulk version?

I'll be honest, I haven't had the bulk version. I generally do not find much difference in bulk vs. tin with C&D though. Bulk is always a better value, but I also like having everything portioned for me, lol

Just got this in the mail. An Ebay purchase. Seller thought it was from the 60's or 70's. Was a little apprehensive about judging the condition from Ebay photos, but it turned to be in excellent condition. A Caminetto Business 147

A Savinelli Bing's Favorite. The sandblast with the standard black stem. Apparently I got the last one Tobacco Pipes had. I'm going to have to get one of these one day. Very nice. Well, I now have one of these coming to me from tobaccopipes.com Can't wait to give it a try. Do they use the filters? Should I use them? Do they have to be balsa wood? I don't generally mind using filters.

Do they have to be balsa wood? I don't generally mind using filters. Hey, hey! Look at you! Congrats, Kevin. Did you get the sandblast, too? Mine hasn't arrived, yet, but yes, they do take filters. I believe you can use balsa or the 6mm activated charcoal filters, but they're made for Savinelli's balsa filters, of course. I hear mixed reports on the draw with the 6mm charcoal filters. The 9mm ones seem to be fine for most people, but I've seen more about draw issues with the 6mm. I expect to use Savinelli's filters.
