Just grossed a woman out... sitting unmasked in an airport and dispensed my Chimo in a cup. Hell, if I smoked, a SWAT team would arrive... what’s a guy to do? Swallow?? 😅😅😅 These Snus portions are super handy, Charlie. No spitting required, long lasting and covert. I hear you, I used the Camel SNUS from the reservation in the past, some variants are good! The stuff from Sweden better!

What'd you think about Skruf? It gets a lot of hype, but the one I tried a while back didn't really impress me ask that much, I found the flavor muted next to Grov Not sure yet will have it figurd by the end of the can

Yes, those Swedes know where it's at. Some folks are against regulation of anything, but ingredients list, nicotine content, freshness dating, portion weight, and spent portion containment get my thumbs up.

Show me one other tobacco product with an ingredients list on the side, that's one of the things that keeps me buying it.

It's supposed to have one of the lowest TSNA (main tobacco carcinogens) contents due to the air-cured leaf and cooking processes. I remember that from my research a few years ago. And that the free nicotine rate is much more consistent than most tobacco products. So your actually getting what it lists on the package.

And this may be purely psychological, but for some reason the nicotine from snus feels cleaner to me. Of course, that may just be that upper lip straight to brain thing too. But I like it.

Ssssh! They'll make it illegal here if they find out!

Also the leaf is not "fermented" so less TSNAs are in the final product. A quick cook to sanitize it, that's all. There's one I really like--Ettan, maybe, that has a decided fire-cured taste. The label lists smoke flavor added!

Skruf this morning. Which do you like better Grov or General and regular or dark/strong? Not sure yet which one/ones will make the rotation in the future. 3G made it for sure.

Grov is pretty much my idea of perfect. General has the bergamot, which adds citrus notes for a more tea-like flavor, where as Grov is just dark and earthy tobacco. Both the regular and the strong portions are good, but the regular ones seem more versatile to me, sometimes I just want flavor without so much kick.
My all time favorite was when Swedish Match was still doing Grov in the Xrange portion, they were longer, slim portions of original Grov that just sat perfectly in that little space above my upper left canine.

I was stuck on the Grov XR for a while, too! I've been a fan of regular Götenberg Rapé as well--bergamot and lavender, not as weird as it sounds. I tried Ettan only once, but would definitely get more. There were a couple cheaper brands that I found similar to General and really liked, but are gone. Phantom was one. Kronan was good and I think they still make it at the economy price level.

Kaliber+ is a good, budget friendly option also. Has just a hint of berry, literally a hint. Fairly strong too.
I've never been a fan of white portions, I get the idea of it being dry out of the package, and I tried some a few times. Decent for yard work, etc. but I'd just as soon have brown portions, much faster flavor, much easier on my gums.

I don't mind white portions. The regular is instant, but sometimes it's like my mouth is juicy all of a sudden when I pop one in. No real preference either way. I might have tried Kaliber. Sounds familiar.
