That is about the size of the acequia running along my place. More water, naturally.Β In Texas, they call a wet hoof print a "Seasonal Pond". LOL! OK, in West Texas. They call Big Bend the place where the rainbows wait for rain. When it does rain the wildflowers are amazing.

I'm Lazy, I live on a large waterfront lot so all I see is work.
Tranquility is my time in SoAZ where I have nowhere to go, no place to be. As much as I sometimes miss my home, garage/shop and collections I'm at peace being away here in my empty home/garage with a spray bottle of Roundup for yard work. When I was working hard on the road, tranquility could be found (and still is) in my car on a quiet highway with a cigar and time in my hand.

Beautiful. I love longer exposures of moving water. But then I just love all water. Even a stormy day like this was tranquil for me.

The pacific northwest is an area I have always wanted to visit. Seattle and the Portland area have always been of interest to me.

Because I've got time to kill haha, I looked through my pics of the area and tried to compare them to the movie. I took the bottom picture last year (this is Ecola Park, just north of Cannon Beach OR. About half an hour drive south of Astoria. Not too far, but quite a bike ride π).

And Sparks, yes the PNW is an amazing place. I understand the gripes some folks will have with the "leanings" here, but all that has always taken a back seat for me to the land itself. Even with the state of WA's prohibition on online tobacco orders, I'm not at all sorry to have fetched up here from the midwest. Certainly worth a visit!

Mountains, rivers, the Pacific Ocean all within eye shot. My only complaint is that we get a lot of rain. But then Iβd rather shovel water then snow.

I generally despise the rain. There are always exceptions though for a beautiful landscape. Ireland was a perfect example. Didn't bother me a bit while I was there, but I went in expecting it, so I was prepared.

PNW is the place for great views and truly exceptional food of all kinds. Hope to revisit it with my wife and small dog some time in the future...if I don't die first.
