As time goes by, I think of members that dropped out that I enjoyed reading their posts. Desires wane and people move on, but I hope that nothing negative has befallen them. dave g came to mind. |

How true Charlie.
I was thinking the same thing the other day.
Some have gone to other forums.
Some have lost interest. Maybe they are still avid pipers, but not into the forums anymore.
I always wonder about the ones who we knew had health issues and how they are doing?
A member who I wonder about was our Cob Princess, Lady Margaret. Maybe she is active elsewhere.

This is a facet of online community that hasn't been worked out yet. I've left word with my family that when I go, let the folks on the baseball blog where I've been a member for years and years know. I've gotten close to some of those people, even though we've never met.

For me, Cosmicbobo is a missed contributor to the site. He is having serious health issues, for both him and his wife. He also didn't like some things that happened here and started his own forum. But he rarely even visits that. He is a great guy. |

This is the only forum I’m a part of. I got a little scratchy a few months ago about some things going on on here and walked away, because I wasn’t here looking for more drama in my life. After a bit, 3 different members contacted me personally with encouragement. It meant a great deal to me, that they cared enough to do that, and I came back. Glad I did. You just never know until you reach out to someone.

I was recently looking at some of the very early posts in the beginning of the forum and noticed some members that were pretty active then all of a sudden just disappear. Kind of makes you wonder sometimes.

Martin still posts rarely on another site. The other one was prolific behind the scenes stirring the pot. They have both moved on for good reasons, but there are many missing in action that I wish would come back. |

I for one do not miss that Q guy. What a moron!!! Coming in selling Pipes and Cigars and Cigarbid, not to mention a twisted sense humor that at a minimum is annoying and at its worst simply blasphemous, the dude just gets on my nerves . I am glad he is gone... Still there are times I miss Q's sense of humor and would like to see him return. Is this strange? I guess one can sum it up as a love hate relationship..  PS Dramatwist is a class act... |

Glad to see you again, I placed two orders with P&C. They shipped one, then sent another age verification. After I sent them the info they did it again. I replied "bite me". Just got a shipped notice. I've never had a problem with them other than that BS. |
