www.aoc.gov/explore-capitol-campus/art/constantino-brumidiWhat the above article does not say (maybe they..''forgot" it) is that the real name of the artist is Constantinos Broumides and was a Greek, his family left Greece (Peloponnesus) at 1770 to survive due to the prosecutions of the ottomans on the innocent villages population. His tomb remained virtually unknown until 1952, when he was found in Glenwood Cemetery, Washington, and on the plaque he was referred to as an "Italian refugee". It took the perseverance of Myrtle Murdoch, a guide at the Capitol who searched for information about Broumidis fascinated by his work and wrote his biography, so that everyone would know the "Greek Michael-Angelos of the Capitol" which received the Congressional Gold Medal posthumously. I am raising a Brebbia with Clan Aromatic for the memory of Ms Myrtle Murdoch.

greets all. Brought in recycle box from curb then to walks earlier, no-band 5x50 for company. After the Ed is fed, Abingdon in old Nording freehand & continue with the papers. To bank later & discuss a possible fraud issue, back then deal with usual wifie's needs.
+8, clear at present
Ed Duncan, Batavia, NY doubt if there's anybody who is more boring than me!

The usual morning selections - Haunted Bookshop and Three Friars, in a cob. Have a great day, everyone. You too Pete. Have to admit you’re as predictable as me golfing almost everyday. I know there’s something wrong when you’re not smoking this exotic blend. Cheers brother.👍

Had some Mac Baren Symphony a little earlier. Still deciding whether this is a blend to add to the cellar. On the fence with this one. I just finished a bowl of G & H Broken Scotch Cake in a cob. It's tasting a bit better than when I last tried it. I let it dry a bit longer, maybe that helped.

Glad to hear you’re up and about Ron. Well, out of bed anyway. Still feeling worn out. At least I can cough or sneeze without having the feeling of several knives in my ribs. Every time I get that sick, I strain all the stomach and chest muscles.

Smoked G & H Broken Scotch Cake this afternoon after the Mac B Symphony tryout. I concluded that Symphony isn't for me. On the other hand, the Scotch Cake was pretty good. The bulk may not be the same as the tinned version, but much better than the last time I tried it. Don't know the reason, but it I enjoyed it this time. Right now, smoking a little Haunted Bookshop in a cob while dinner settles. Glass of red sitting next to me. Bruins-Rangers on the tube.

Carolina Deluxe in the second of two Jaspers I've owned for some time. Estates that waited for about two years for me to smoke them. They both have good open airflow and feel nice in hand or jaw, plus they sport some fine looking straight grain. The downside is they both have that old insta-green type mouthpieces that make them brutal to keep clean...not a deal breaker ,but a P.I.T.A.
