SPS Court of St. James in my Dr. Grabow Royalton Billiard. Sutliff definitely makes some awesome blends. This one sounds interesting in a good way. Yeah, this is a great blend. It’s too bad that it is out of production. Especially as there aren’t many blends like this: a well balanced VaPer with a touch of Latakia. Peter Heinrich’s #30 was also in this category. Unfortunately, the recipe for that blend totally changed a year or so ago.

Got distracted and forgot to set out the University Flake. Just prepped it and letting it dry a bit. Meanwhile, having leftover Match Victorian with a little HB mixed in.

I know that availability of tobaccos plays a role...I guess it is, what it is.

Filled a couple bowls of Peterson University Flake, in a Peterson Christmas 2020 B10 Calabash (which I'm smoking now) and a black, sandblasted, nameless, London made basket Billiard. Watching a Jeremy Brett Return of Sherlock Holmes episode on YouTube - The Bruce Partington Plans. Pint glass of Smithwick's Red Ale to keep me refreshed. Maybe something stronger if I watch a second episode.

Still too cold for smoking, here. But nice pipes, guys, and sending best thoughts to those of you with parents in senior care, and to them. Mine are still at home for the time being, thankfully.

Okay, one more episode - The Golden Pince-Nez. This time with a more appropriate tobacco, GLP Charring Cross, in a more appropriate pipe, Dunhill Group 4 Shell Dublin. Hope everything's okay in your part of the world. Stay warm, stay safe.

Yet another bowl of my Stirling Bridge/Amphora B.C. mix...just some over dried Amphora, thoughtlessly tossed into a bag of middle of the road VA/Per, and BANG!!!, a mix I can't put down. I love it when things work out right.
the pipe is an unbranded basket bulldog, the coffee is hazelnut, and very hot. Happy I.P.S.D.

I ended up watching three episodes on YouTube last night. Might go back and watch a couple more today. Approaching the weekend with no specific plan. Except for grocery shopping with my wife and grilling something for dinner, anyway. Have to shovel some snow around the grill. I guess that would count as a plan, after all.

Working again all weekend. Smoking Crystal Palace all week. Things are getting to a point where I'm afraid to take the pipe out of my mouth given what I might say to some of my co-workers.
