Having a bowl from the cherry jar this morning, in a bulldog marked Made in London England. The tobacco is a mix of at least 4 cherry tobaccos ,mostly gifts from well-meaning non-smoking friends who couldn't stand the smell of my pipe, with some bulk raspberry thrown. small amounts of this or that went in over time ,until I began to find it truly smokable.
Not something for everyday, but cool ,slow and relaxing this morning, tasty in fact, with a good hot coffee.

Milan's My Finest Kind ,in a half rusticated freehand from Stanwell .It's a Royal Guard, one of a pair I really enjoy. There's a unique softness to the hand-feel of these, a feel that makes you look for an armchair ,and a place to put your feet up. Perhaps they're all supposed to do that, but these do it so well.
