Filled the 124 with whatever was left on the drying plate this morning, I think a little Sea Dog, some Newminster 403, and the dust from some Plum Pudding. I imagine that the 124 smokes pretty good.

It does, and it's surprisingly light for the size. The light bend in the stem makes it sit very nicely in the clench. I am really happy with it.

Sutliff Virginia Slice in a cob. There were C&D-style tins all over the floor this morning. Baffled, I went to restack them on the shelf. The cause was a couple of GLP tins that finally grew enough to topple the stack.

Hooray! The Balkan Saseni is gone! Moving on to a jar of Hearth and Home Viprati dated 8/17 In a Castello Sea Rock.
Figure it will take about a week at least to get through it.

GREEK INDEPENDENCE WAR of 18211821-2021: 200th Anniversary As today at 25 March 1821 the Orthodox Greeks officially started the revolution against the ottoman empire fighting turks and their allies [muslims from albania, bosnia, egypt, croatia etc] to end an almost 400 year old tyranny. Their motto was "Freedom of Death" and in few areas that the turks never manage to invade was "Victory or Death". I am smoking Greek tobacco Regulus my own blend No 1 and i will raise a glass of red wine for the fallen in the battlefield fellow countrymen.

Okay, I confess. I had to add to an order awhile back, to get free shipping of course. so I pulled the trigger. Very happy I did. I really am enjoying this. Worth the extra money for the wooden box? No. But, if they could/would sell this in a regular tin for a normal price or even better in bulk. I would cellar a good bit!

Smoked some Peterson Sherlock Holmes and Haunted Bookshop while wrapping up work and running errands. The pipe was a brown sandblasted/plateau rimmed Savinelli Nonpareil.

GLP Stonehenge Flake in a MM Legend. Fuzzy water on the side. I know around here, if you leave the tap water in a glass for about a week, it starts to congeal, but you probably shouldn't drink it if it's fuzzy.🤪

Yeah, fuzzy's not good. Probably tough to swallow. More Sherlock Holmes, same Savinelli.
