Extended warranty indeed. How many phone numbers do those guys have? I think I've already blocked about a thousand.

I once asked a sales rep if his Grandparents had a protection plan like that on there car, and if not ,why?...he told me i was just mad cause i couldn't afford one...I just told him to pi$$ off ,and hung up. Plans like that are driving auto care cost threw the roof!!!

One of the ones that calls me bounces their phone number, so when I thought of a witty retort and tried to call them back, I got a residential number of a very friendly person who had no idea about any of it. Our government could stop this, so they must be greasing a lot of palms.

Not firm yet, but it involves an OBi200 box and Google Voice. I'll create a new number for friends and 'safe' places, and will never answer my current number - it will go to a voice mail message that starts with: "leave your number FIRST - any kind of message to start, and I move to the next SPAM." |
