I can extol the virtues, plots, and themes of several works of literature. I can make reading MacBeth and The Scarlet Letter actually fun. I can diagram sentences like nobody's business, spot a typographical error a mile away, and instantly recognize an improperly formatted paper or incorrect citation. I can lecture all year on Metaphysics and worldview. Balance our checkbook? Nope. My wife has the head for maths, and even thinks it is fun. We all have our strengths. |
