I'm really getting into Bowlegged Bear and Nightcap. What is the flavor that I'm getting 'on the back' when I retrohale(sp)? It's funky . . . almost 'overripe'. Anyone know what element of the blend that might be. Love it at night . . . not for the morning. As always . . . sorry it this is a noob post.

There are two tobaccos in the list of components that might do this, either the perique or the orientals. I usually get more funk from orientals than perique, even though perique is fermented. Perique usually gives me a slight tingle on my tongue and if I retro too early it makes me sneeze a lot of the time. Try something like bayou morning or bayou night theyre both c&d heavy perique blends.
Edit: I just reread the op and its definitely the perique excuse my rambling. I had a single thought run away from me.
