April 13th.. Which is a lucky day as I opened my tin of c&d redburn. X105 and the old gbd. I think i am more for blockade runner. The topping on redburn reminds me a bit of the top note of dreams of kadath. Not as heavy but a similar "berry" hidden behind the scenes. Does burn faster than blockade runner as well. Slightly deeper flavor which may be the burley and if smoked too fast a distinct spice grows on the tongue. Blockage runner remains smoother to the bottom of a bowl with only a growing darker richness which continues to the end. The quality of tobacco is very good which keeps the blend palatable. A bit slower burn and a touch less kentucky (which i think is giving the spice/pepper) would be great for me. I do have a tin of black frigate so high hopes that blend may favor my tastes. Anyhoo, hope you all are having as nice a day!

Finishing a pleasant bowl of GH Glengarry. I have to be in a weird mood for this one. I'm going to set out a bit of SG 1792 for after Bruins v Sabres.

I typically smoke English and Balkan blends with the occasional VaPer thrown in. But I wanted to give Burley a try. So I had some Uhle's Blend 00 in a Fader's Acorn. A bit mild for my tastes but not too bad.

Those @%?&en scammers are playing us again! They had promised that the Cafes would open in April, then they said early May and now they say mid-May. So for another month we will be in the benches like illegal wanderers. I am smoking Petersen & Sorensen The Squire's Mixture, double Greek coffee beside me and yes, i am very upset!
