Samuel Gawith 1792 flake from 3/2015 in a W.O. Larsen. The age on the blend softens the Tonquin Bean... better blend than when fresh.

Smoking Newminster 403 Superior Round Slices in an Abe Herbaugh.Does that guy know how to make a pipe? Just kidding...I have heard nothing but raves, and that one looks like a beaut! The pipe practically smokes itself, super light and without any flaws that I can find. I bought it second hand and it was thus within my budget. A sweet little pipe for sure. Mr. Herbaugh knows what he is doing!

Not me so much as the wife...she's gotta have a pot each night with supper. We finished tonights off with homemade apple pie, but I could have done with iced tea. If coffee is around ,I'll have one with my pipe, but I don't always sleep well. When sleep becomes an issue, I'll turn to the C-pap, and I'm off to dreamland!

Age is a factor, it hasn’t always been this way for me.

Peterson Sherlock Holmes in a MM Rob Roy Washington. Since I've been working from home this past year, my coffee consumption has gone up. But I'm usually done with it by 2:00, then switch to tea. No caffeine in the evening or I won't sleep.

April 21st. While we had a fun snow storm yesterday it was all gone in a few hours. This morning is not as cold as expected but upper 30s is still chilly. Thankfully the Sun has appeared and is quickly warming us. So first was a short billy budd/tray scraps in the basket luxor. The tray scraps help the blend for me as it goes "all business" too soon for my tastes but still good for quick pipes in the cold. Now on deck is both spigots with the x105 with awakened elder and the big 107 with SPC plum pudding. Wind is calm so should be a nice day as we head for 50° later. So while I wait I am looking at the new petite pete and am loving it more. Guess I will have to get pics on computer and post using it as I know many of you would enjoy looking at the pipes Anyhoo, have a great day all!
