Has anyone here smoked Germain's Rich Dark Flake? Would like to hear what your thoughts are on this blend.

Read some reviews of it in British pipe magazines. It is considered the nearest thing to Stonehaven in England. Esoterica is only sold in the US. Never had any. Would be fantastic to try.

The only problem is actually finding some in stock somewhere.

If i recall correctly, one is more burley based and forward, the other is more Virginia based and forward. Both very nice, but i prefer the Virginia forward better- whichever that one is... been a while. Edit: Went to TR Reviews to refresh my memory. Excerpt from the JimInks Stonehaven review: "...The burleys are a little more obvious than the Virginias."
