Years ago a guy that I hung out with was a pretty cool dude, he looked like Greg Allman, and his wife was pretty cool. He always referred to her as his Ol' Lady and she seemed to dig it. That line has never worked for me, only on a forum can I get away with it.
My wife's birthday falls on the same week as mother's day, so flowers and a $100.00 gift card to the nail salon is what I typically get her on mother's day.

Working all weekend but will bring home flowers after work. My step-son came up and helped install our whole-house filtration system and spend time with his mom which was really nice.

It’s my father in law’s birthday on Mother’s Day too. Family bbq today and will take pop’s out for golf tomorrow.

I got her a new high-dollar backpack she's been drooling over and then took her and the kiddo out to a lovely place for brunch.
Our kid bought her roses and made her breakfast in bed.
I don't know what I'd do without those women.

She got a trip to Alaska to sée the kids and grandkids.
