I haven't been here in a while. I've been depressed beyond words..My wife got sick and died.She was in the hospital for 6 weeks before she passed.She was my soul mate,My best friend,My main reason for living..My life will never be the same..I will be thinking of her when I take my last breath.This is something I never thought I would go through..I can't even begin to explain how I feel..So many things remind me of her..It really hurts.I'm trying to go on a day at a time.I hope to be here more often now.

Your words felt like ice water in my face; the shock was that intense. You posted of her many times and your lifestyle seemed much like so many folks our age share.
I can only guess of the emptiness you feel ,but please know that we are all here for you, and as for myself, I'm only a PM away.

Larry,
Through your posts over the years, I have gleaned that she was quite an incredible woman, and that you love her dearly. I cannot imagine the heartbreak that you have encountered at the terrible loss of someone so special. This week I fly out to California to take a leisurely drive back with my wife as she has been caring for a terminally ill sister.
Your words inform me on not taking things for granted, and I really need to make the most of it and dote on her as we will visit some special places with great memories. So, I thank you for your words that really strike a chord about the specialness of people in our lives, the brevity of life, and the need to express ourselves in that regard to our spouse.
I wanted to call when Brad told us of the loss, but I wanted to give you time. In due time, call me and we can chat when you feel up to it.

I'm so sorry, Larry. I don't have words, and can't imagine the pain of your loss. I nearly lost my wife once. The horror of it haunts me a decade later and helps me look for ways to be grateful daily for the gift and blessing she is.

I sincerely from the bottom of my heart thank each of you for your kind thoughts and words..I feel like my life has been turned upside down..For almost 60 years we went places together,and did things together..Now she's not here with mt..It hurts beyond what words can say..A good many of my neighbors have been through this they are helping me.I'm thankful for that.They tell me that it will never be the same but I will make it..At the worst time of my life you are here for me..I sincerely thank you for that.

Larry. my deepest sympathy to you and your family. I lost my wife 3 years ago and the emptiness is still with me. Time does heal but it takes a long time. The main thing is to continue living. Your family and friends depend on you to do so. The pain will subside but the memories are to be cherished. Keep moving forward as best you can.

Larry, I am so sorry for your loss. It took me a couple of days to reply because I couldn't see after reading your post. This is the only thing I am afraid of and I can't begin to imagine how you feel. You have all our support and prayers. I hope that things begin to look brighter for you.
