Exact same experience. A brother that I haven’t spoken to in 22 years stole my wallet for weed money. It wasn't the weed. If it hadn't been available it would have been meth, opioids, heroin, etc. An addict is an addict That was years before any of that was available here. He was 14 and our mother found the marijuana stash at her house in his room. |

Or alcohol. We all know the 'Yeah, I looked for a job today, mom' stoner, but the weed's a symptom, not the cause. I knew a pastor who really wanted to meet this strange guy who said thank you! when you handed him a JOINT!!! because stoners can't be polite or something? There are many people from all walks of life that have, or still smoke stuff. There's a quote that says something like: 'Moderation in most things'. A lot of folks don't understand why we have the filthy habit of smoking tobacco. Ew. Socrates is credited with being the first to state, "Everything in moderation. Nothing in excess," 2500 years ago. |

He was 14 and our mother found the marijuana stash at her house in his room. And where is he now? My brother broke my piggy bank when I was little and my dad beat him and kicked him out of the house. I would have gladly given him the money. He died a multi millionare. He changed, but he was never bad. |

I really don't think that you can blame that on the weed. Just sayin'. IF I HAD to live on the streets, Austin would be it. Man, that town is full of suckers, and it's still (technically) in Texas. 😉🤠 I don't suppose that it's too late to hope he gets his life together. |

I've heard that often. It's just something people may say automatically when they see someone smoking a pipe. I believe there are many more weed smokers than pipe smokers . . . even in states where marijuana is NOT legal for rec use.
