Seeing no one really reads my website, they just look at pipes I'm posting this here. I'm going to give you more information then really needed but, it's so some may understand why I'm doing this. Because it's getting harder and harder to concentrate along with my other health issues I will ONLY be taking on ONE commission a month based on my interest in it and my capabilities at the time. I may also drop to making only 2 or 3 pipes a month. This will depend on my health status at the time as well. Those commissions I've already promised will still be for filled. I am sorry if this is an inconvenience for anyone but, it is beyond my control, I too will suffer because of it but, it is what it is.

Sorry to hear that, my friend. You've made so many wonderful pipes and I'm fortunate to have a small herd of them to cherish all my days. Take care of yourself and keep on keeping on.

It breaks my heart to hear this, brother Ron. I know that health issues are always around the bend for those of us who are gettin' older. I know that you are doing what is best for your health and sanity and I wish you all the best in both areas. I will continue to cherish the pipes you have made for me...especially a Christmas gift that you sent, knowing that I couldn't afford one at that time. You have lived up to your name brand..."Just honest handmade pipes" and you will always be in my prayers for your good health and happiness.

Sorry to hear of the trouble, Ron. Take care of you. Don't let the pipemaking become just another bother. There's no fun in it, anymore.

Sorry to hear, Ron... but this will make your amazing work even more valuable. Always best to scale back a bit if something you love starts to feel like work, either mentally or physically.

Thank you all again, I'm sure just slowing down a bit will have great benefits on my body and mind. So less making pipes and more smoking them? 🤪

Thank you all again, I'm sure just slowing down a bit will have great benefits on my body and mind. So less making pipes and more smoking them? 🤪 That's a good question, I've really cut back on smoking mainly because the dadburn thing goes out while I working on something, can't chew gum and walk either. No I don't think the smoking will increase just how long it takes me to make a pipe. I'll be taking more time to make one mainly because of more breaks. Been having a hell of a time with my back and it makes it hard to sleep so I'm going to try and limit time bent over a bench working on a pipe. I have spinal problems starting at my neck all the way down and even into my legs. I use to be able to ignore most of it but, it's getting harder to do that nowadays. Time marches on.
