Pic is not as demonstrative as I had hoped. Plus, the Stanwell (right) looks bigger than it should it should due to foreshortening. But it kinda shows the load difference between the Peterson House Pipe and a “normal” pipe. The House pile is about 1/3 taller than the Stanwell’s. Maybe weighing would have been a better demo.  |

I think it makes the point pretty well. When I can start smoking indoors, I definitely want to have one of those House Pipes on hand.

Should have mentioned this earlier... BEWARE! Big pipes like the House or Pub can spoil you. They have me. I find my smaller "normal" pipes are less satisfying than the cooler, richer-tasting smoke from the big boys. YMMV. But don't say I didn't warn ya.
(Wonder what a churchwarden stem would do for the House?)

Looking more closely at the Stanwell, is that an 86? If it is, it is a small bowl, something like 40mm high! This puts the height of the House pipe even more into perspective! |

It is an 86. Bowl depth 1.175 and width .725. The House Pipe is 2.060 and .85. The Pub is 2.09 and .77".
