This evening, for starters; A Sutliff Virginia mix of roughly equal parts of 515-RC1 and 507-C, with a healthy pinch of 507-S thrown in, in a Larrysson Blasted Bent Dublin, a good Virginia pipe. Then, WC Terrapin Station in a Falcon with a Meer Bulldog bowl. We will see if there is a third. That's one beautiful looking pipe! I've always been too late trying to get one when he released his updates. Thank you! This is the 2018 Badger & Blade Brown Leaf POY and is one of the reasons I came back to pipe smoking after a 35 year or so hiatus in the cigar world. The Brown Leaf enablers started pulling me back in and when this POY had a second chance opportunity to order, I took the plunge. It was the first pipe I'd purchased since the late '70's. At the time, I knew virtually nothing about the post-internet pipe and tobacco scene and the world of artisan pipes. I was lucky to have stumbled into the opportunity, especially since Paul Hubartt retired from pipe making earlier this year.

Country Squire 50th Anniversary in my 1982 Dunhill Root Briar group 4 Panel. This blend is a very tasty VaPer that I highly recommend trying.

Mighty tasty, and while you might have had a shrewd judge tinned up, he had an agreeable attitude after 11 years. A great smoke fresh, much better with age. Nice pictures of a great blend!
