C&D Five o'clock Shadow in the Thursday cob. Really like this blend. Not sure I want to cellar another blend too deep, but I'll get a few more tins.

Tea goes faster than a bowl. Enjoying a bowl of Balkan mix in my MM Cobbit Shire. For some reason, I save my "good" pipes for my evening smoke.

Well Pete, taste is such a subjective thing , but for me there's something stronger going on in Morley's; at one time Morley's was a daily smoke for me, but there's an edge to it now that never stood out until I found B.H.T. Something I do enjoy ,that I find near to B.H.T. , is Engine 99; it leaves you with a clean, even fresh mouth feel, like cold spring water or fresh morning air. That sounds crazy in terms of tobacco, but once you try it , I think you'll get what I mean...don't let the descriptions of all the other "Engines" put you off...99 is the one to ride!

greets & happy TGIF to those affected. Earlier, usual walks, company of no-band 5x50. After the Ed is fed, Abingdon in old SamMartin freehand, continue with the papers. A fruitless trip to local farmers market, syrup vendor no longer has it. Picked up strawberry rubarb pie for da Mrs, mini-pecan "tarts" for meself. Quiet day hopes for till usual late doings with groceries.

Just finishing my first bowl of Sutliff's Missouri Meerschaum Crumble Kake Orchard Mist in an MM bent Great Dane egg. Smells great like fruity/liquored peach brandy essence in the tin with a hint of vanilla in the background. In the smoke, it's a bit too aromatic for my personal tastes but the other two tins should age wonderfully with a handful of years on them.

Not smoking anything right now. Air is dark and full of ash and smoke from the fires in Northern Cal. Won't be lighting up till it clears.
