The urban sprawl that is the Metroplex (Dallas/Fort Worth). I'm in Grand Prairie in the lower middle. There is very little natural beauty; one of the things I miss about home.

We are throwbacks for sure in the eyes of many. But forward thinkers if you ask me.

“Inspired by a thread I saw elsewhere, I'm curious to know what it's like where you are. Let's see what you see everyday! Here's are my daily views in Edinburgh.”
Truly a beautiful locale, I hope to visit it in the next few years and smoke a bowl or two with you.

I'll come with you, Charlie! It is a done deal then. A church planting trip, The Edinburgh pipe club! I think if we are creative we can write the trip off as a business expense. The Scotch is on our host though.

trailboss Silver and anyone else: You're more than welcome. There is, in fact, an Edinburgh Pipe Club, but because of Covid, I don't think they meet much, if at all. Let me know if you make it over and the first round at the pub is on me... well, the beer is... if you want anything out of a bottle over 20 years old, that's on you! And if you ask for ice, I'll pay for your cab back to the airport.

That is not Shane. That is Chris Calloway. He just told us about Ryker and Jack Wilson being over at Grafton's Saloon!

Not many grand views of the horizon, but we think it's beautiful here. Lots of lakes, ponds, creeks, swamps, low wooded hills, huge ranches, small farms, tiny cabins and shacks.

I like the Court House. WHen you hang a man, give him a trial in a nice building so he remembers his last hours.
