My wife died in may and I'm still doing paper work.

So sorry. Why is it so complicated? When my mom died I really didn't have to do much. I'm curious about what my wife is going to have to do because she has to outlive me.

So sorry for your loss, Larry...prayers for your peace and sanity.

I went through the same thing, Larry. Also had to deal with half a dozen fraudulent credit cards being opened in my wife's name a week after she died. It's a nightmare that will eventually work out but it's hell when you're in the middle of it. Stay focused and strong. It gets better.

And Ron likes the fact that you are still doing paperwork. Just trying to add a bit of levity, Larry. Hang in there, Hoss...they do make things overly difficult, don't they?

My wife died in may and I'm still doing paper work. I know what you mean. I just closed my mother's estate account at the bank today. She passed August 2019. Now I've just got to go through all the paperwork and records - and package up only what I need to keep. Pitch the rest. Don't let it drag you down.

Hate to hear that. I hope you can get it wrapped up reasonably soon. That stuff hangs on to you.

Some of the red tape can take ages. And it doesn't help when you have to relive details over and over again.
