It was a rice cooker for the wife, now it’s just us her old rice cooker was too big, no honk, big rain shower in the horizon, just not acceptable.

I doubt that mail person would never do that to family and friends.
I would email the picture to the local postmaster, and to Amazon.

I have sent pictures from our old house where they left a box in the street by the mailbox, another in the azelias, and a couple in the middle of the driveway. When they do right we treat them right. The post lady, the Amazon lady and the FedEx guy all made sure to tell us goodbye and give us hugs. The people who deliver here have been pretty great so far.

Don't want to interrupt the thread, but what kind of rice cooker if you don't mind me asking? Don't know whether they make better rice than the way I have been cooking rice forever, pan with a lid. Thanks & mods trash this if inappropriate.

Now that Son is gone it’s just me and wife, bought a 2 cup rice cooker, Dash is the name, wife cooked one cup and was impressed with it, she’s a hard critic, it’s small but 2 cups of rice for us is plenty.

My sister in Morgan City cooked rice in a 5 gallon pot every day. Of course she had 6 kids that ate it 3 meals a day. Had it with sugar for breakfast.

At least you got it. That's more than I can say for about a third of my mail.

Wow, unbelievable. Of course, if it was FedEx, you wouldn't get it for another 3 weeks.

Well, if it doesn't fit, what are they supposed to do? I mean, come on! My postman signs for packages that need signatures and pops the items in my shed at the back of the house if I'm not in.

I’m home all the time, blow your horn and I will accept the package, my wife was outside cutting okra, saw her pass in her Jeep, no honk, yell, or anything like that, big storm clouds around us, she’s a 💩.

The electric rice cooker is a real marvel. Standard equipment in all Asian households. Perfect rice every time if directions are followed. Shuts off when rice is ready and holds it warm. No worries about pots overboiling or scorching on the stove. Frees up stove space. Inexpensive now. If you eat rice often which I do, they are indispensable. Comes in various sizes.

We have no mail delivery here.
A visit to the PO which is open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for PO box access. Locked the other twelve hours.
My only complaint is that the US Mail seems to move by mule train from Albuquerque to Costilla. Sloooooowwwww.......
Fed Ex and UPS usually place packages and boxes inside my front gate which is closed and secured with a chain. A large "KEEP OUT" sign is posted so it may be ignored.

Not good. Unless your house is a ways off the road. My experience with USPS has been overall pretty good; come the the front door and place parcels under the eves.

I used to have one, but then our electric pressure cooker (Pressure King) did the same job (plus extra), and the rice cooker hasn't been used since. It comes out perfect every time.

How do you know it wasn't the Amazon driver? You have to be pretty close to a Amazon hub to get one of their delivery drivers and I think it’s against the law for anything but US Mail to be delivered to a mail box.
