Unfortunately, the MRE Depot.com has been pirated by the "Beijing Weihuan Wenbo Trading Company, LTD." The original company has posted ads warning that anyone advertising their name is a fraud. The real company does not advertise and never has, they claim.
SO my order for cases lots of roast beef chunks in a can ain't gonna arrive here! Fortunately, PayPal might help recover my money.

Oh, that's aggravating, John. I've had credit/debit cards hijacked multiple times. Usually a PITA, but not always. I think PP is supposed to be pretty good about fixing fraud issues.

I came across a site selling reloading powder, primers, etc..... Everything that's hard, if not impossible, to get. A little checking and I found they were fake. Someone traced their actual location back to France.
And awhile back I also got a notice from some UK server that a message I sent to someone named Jim Black was undeliverable. Only, I never sent the message! The message was a threat to sabotage this guy's smart devices if a $1300 ransom wasn't paid!
I changed all my passwords!

Can be opened with can opener, knife or other sharp object.
How dumb do you have to be for that to be useful?
Nah Jim, it says sharp object.

That sucks. I had no idea you could get roast beef chunks in a can. This country has a long history of beef in a can. I used to distribute government beef in a can to Senior citizens. It tasted a bit like corned beef but not quite as much fat and salt. WHole chickens are also available in a can, bones and all. Only the best for OUR seniors!

When it comes to opening these MRE cans I use an M1 Garand bayonet. Time tested as the right tool for that job.

Hello John, I’m afraid that I do not see any orders from you or with your name or email address in our system. We ship all orders out within 24 hours and send tracking numbers right away. That order ID 3220 is not from our website, we use completely different order IDs.
Unfortunately, I suspect that you were likely duped, as we have heard reports that Chinese scammers have created fake websites and sold our products for pennies on the dollar via Facebook sponsored ads (i.e. $75/case of Yoder's Meats that normally cost $145.95/case plus shipping). They impersonate "MREDEPOT.COM" by using "MRE Depot Co Ltd" and "MRE Depot Trading Co Ltd" names. They send email confirmations from "hotmail.com" and "outlook.com" email addresses. We do not use any generic email addresses in our company. Our attorney has shut several of them down for trademark violation, so most likely you won't be able to access their spoof website anymore. This is why you cannot check order details on our website, since you most likely placed your order on a scam/fake website.
Since you did not pay us, we are not able to refund you. So contact your credit card immediately and let them know you placed an order from a spoofed website and did not receive your order. You should have no problem receiving your payment back. However, if you are not able to get your money back, let us know and we can help you with that.
In the future, I strongly suggest that you check the domain name of the website you are ordering from. If it is not www.MREdepot.com, or if the price seems too good to be true, it usually is. Please note that legitimate MREdepot store is located at www.mredepot.com/Default.asp. And legitimate MREdepot Facebook page is located at www.facebook.com/MREdepot/.
We have PayPal working on this case trying to locate these Chinese hackers. If you could provide us with any documents regarding this purchase that would be a great help to us! We are looking for things like screenshots of their webpage, URL address, confirmation emails, email addresses that they use, PayPal account, PayPal confirmation numbers, etc. If you could send us any of that info, we would greatly appreciate and we could add it to our file.
Sorry that you got taken by this scam. If we can help you in any way with getting your money back, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Sincerely,
MREdepot Logo2222

I've bought a couple of things from ads on Facebook that turned out to be scams. I got reimbursed for one, but the other showed PayPal a proof of delivery from the post office so they won't help. That was for a 8x12 portable building. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is. I blame myself.

My beef usually comes from a cow. I cannot figure out if these Chinese usurpers intend to deliver Chinese "meat" in a can to me or if it is just a fraud. I do not believe in butchering cows, preferring steers or young bulls. I have butchered old bulls into hamburger. We use fresher suet for that.
