I appreciate the fact that they work with small farm productions. Really, I do. I think that's great. But since Laudisi acquired C & D and they brought a change to the anti - mold agent (remember the long series of molded tins?), I have developed an oral intolerance to their products, which was again confirmed not too long ago when I bought some Haunted Bookshop, OJK, Windjammer, Spark Plug, Temple Bar and Regent's Flake.Β Which is too bad because I used to enjoy their products a lot. Maybe it's the Dunhills, not the tobacco. π€ ππ

I'd send you one of my tins, Pete, but my UPS store doesn't ship tobacco products anymore, which leaves just the PO, and it's virtually impossible for me to get to the PO, given their hours and mine. Tell them it's a wood carving. It's not a pipe. Just tobacco.

It's not a pipe. Just tobacco. Herbal dietary supplement, then? Yeah, I thought of "vegetable matter," but those all sound like euphemisms for weed.

This is available right now at Smoking Pipes. I just put a tin in my cart (and then removed it because I made the mistake of buying several tins during the 2018 offering--without perique). I keep hoping it will get better with age. Three years in, and it is just as bland. Maybe the perique in this will make it more interesting.

Interesting. When I was reading the reviews on TR last night, a lot of people were saying the perique made the flavor too strong and they preferred the CRF without.

It's not a pipe. Just tobacco. Let me explain it to you. LIE! Tobacco = hobby supplies. It's not a lie either. Unless they specifically ask if you're shipping tobacco I have tins of this and the normal red without perique that I haven't even tasted yet. I'm skipping this year's due to other things.

Haven't been involved in something this nuts since the Christmas of "Tickle Me Elmo"! Itβs amazing what I little bit of hype and impulse can lead to. ππππ Hope this tobacco is worth it Pete, Charlie and Urb as I totally missed the boat! Guess I wasnβt fast enough. π€¦ββοΈπ€¦ββοΈ

I don't want any--but if you still do--grab some.

Yeah, when I finally got their site to load the other night and saw their limit per customer per day was 12 tins, I knew they had a pretty good supply.

I will admit, I bought six tins. After doing some catch up's on my podcasts on the long drives the last two days, I heard the interview with Jeremy Reeves on this blend. He was able to source some really rare leaf for this one....5, 10, 15 years for these ones to put back for...if my ticket doesn't get punched beforehand. pipesmagazine.com/blog/radio-talk-show/pipes-magazine-radio-show-episode-475/Except for the one I opened, mine all went to the back of the cellar.

Haven't opened any yet. One tin's sitting on my work bench, the other's are cellared away.
