Tons of Emails, political, some wanting to give me money, all day long, I figure now we are now a Nation for handouts. Do some sell your email address. Seems to me if you do nothing, not work you get more. Kinda assbackwards to me, just an Old Man museing.

I get them too because I gave money a couple of times. I won't make that mistake again. I I subscribe or block their texts. Can't do anything about the snail mail except not let it in the house.

we get calls ,all the time, from guys who say they work for the state or county police, or the Vets , or the firefighters; they want us to send them money ,so they can send it to Washington, so the blowhards on their team can take longer lunches. If I ever remember where I stashed that big jar labeled "Dumbass Dough", I'm gonna send em a few bucks too!

I don't really get emails of that type. I use Ooma for telephone and hsvr filters set up to block most unsolicited calls, but a few always sneak through. I just don't answer calls from folks I don't know or expect calls from.

We never answer it because it just gets robo calls. We do check the messages though.

As far as political emails, yes, some most definitely sell your address. I've been on both DNC and RNC lists for years and I signed up for them. One sends me an email once a week. The other has sold my email address countless times and I get solicitations at least five times a day for campaigns all over the country asking for money, incumbents asking for money to do what they were elected to do, noncandidates asking for money to start a social media platform, and all peddling fear to enhance the grift. I'll leave it as an exercise for the reader to determine which is which.
