I've never seen that RDP pipe before now. Looks awesome. It is awesome. He's so ashamed of it that he took it off his page. He makes a great pipe but I just don't know what we're going to do about him. 😉😁🤠 Ron does such great work. He's way to tough a critic of his work. He's got the bulldog/rhodesian pattern nailed.

He just seems to like making Rhodesians these days, but he has a squashed tomato that I need.

Dinner out with wife and kids, celebrating a couple birthdays belatedly. Lotsa fun. During the drive, had Big'n'Burley and Orion's Arrow. At home, got to sample some Firedance (not my style). Now smoking Marlin Flake in a GBD Conquest.

2021 C&D Carolina Red Flake w/ Perique in a BBB Own Make Thorneycroft sandblasted zulu.
Nifty zulu. Thanks, Urb. I found it in a thrift store for either $6, or $8. Those are the types of deals I really enjoy finding in estate hunts. Finding old pipes for the actual prices they were in 60s! One day, I'll find that $10-25 Dunhill in a bin somewhere.
Of course, I've found the exact opposite as well. In an antiques mall down in Florida I found a few totally beat to hell painted Kaywoodies and Grabows that they were asking $40-60 a piece and you also get folks that flip antiques.

Crazy wild! I like it! Thanks Pete. There were two of these pipes made from a pear tree that had been struck by lightning. The chamber drilling is excellent and it's a great smoker. I haven't been smoking it enough the last few years. Pear is surprisingly hard and it's never imparted any flavor on my smokes and never shown signs of carbonizing.

I guess if he can drill stone pipes perfectly that he wouldn't have a problem with pear.

Ron and Cramptholomew (Jason) are both outstanding carvers, we are lucky to have such talented folks with us on the Patch. Got a commission in for Cramps whenever he can get to it. Butternut burley in an early Cramps...special apple.

A Walt MM CG with Captain Rev. in it. The first blend I ever smoked, a house blend probably a Lane tobacco. Just a revisit to where I started. I one more of these blends in my rotation.
