nothing got done outside, neither of us, wind/rain. Tea at dek, Exotique in LaughingBacchus meer in smoking room. Wifie got the cell phone "card" done, now playing with the owners manual about who know what. We both at conclusion that the only folks allowed to use a cell phone are those with at least a masters degree in high-tech! No thanx..use same only if need to out from house in case of emegency & power failure we have Spectrum 3-1 plan for around 15yrs, has served us well.
40, light rain, wind stopped

December 15th. Ah, what a few days bring to the weary midwesterner? crazy storms! So this evening it is a fancy feast. Some Basil Hayden whiskey..(fun fact: they are a sub brand of Jim Beam as well as knob creek). made into a very citrus old fashion cocktail. The Peterson X105 is filled to the brim with Cobblestone kentucky brick.. amazing plug tobacco, only complaint is the smaller package amounts but I just order more so have at Thee oh sweet leaf!.. Lol..anyhoo, great pipe, great tobacco, good drink, waiting for the storms tonight! Hope All are well.

No pipes today or at least it is highly doubtful. We are in the midst of a real old fashioned "duster". The wind is blowing 30 to 40 mph with gusts over 60 mph. A lot of dirt in in the air and moments ago it turned very much like a total eclipse, not dark, but very dim. We haven't had this sort of wide spread dust in the air for years, at least that I can remember; minor dust storms, yes, but like this, no. Lotta odd weather afoot. Stay in out of it.

Highways in three directions out of town ended up closed by early afternoon; blowing dirt with zero visibility and at least on fatal car accident. A wild day on the high plains. Now the wind has died down and while there is still dust in the air and all over everything, I may get a pipe in after all! Thinking about that batch of Sutliff KG VaPer 2.0 I mixed up the other day in my LE Alden or perhaps the LE Larrysson; always a decision!

Tobacco from the cherry jar, in my first Nording Signature...and more of the same in the Hercules 619. As this jar nears it's end, the cherry fades to a wisper on the exhale ,and the softer, earthy burley is more up front. Two more cherry homebrews remain ,in my collection of small jars...another "Cherry Jar" and " Old Cherry Tree ".

Back from usual full walks, no-band 5x50 for company. After the Ed is fed, Exotique in SerJac Rowlette "scoop" & continue with the papers. Unknown at this time what wifie has in mind for me. If decent outside, try to finish yard work
59, breezy but could get rain eventually
