Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee in the workshop. Polishing some pipes on the little bench buffer that arrived yesterday.

I mixed up about 1.5 bowls of GH & Co. #25, 1 bowl of Milan's Our Prince Albert, a tiny pinch of 2017 GLP Temple Bar, and a bowl worth of C&D John Marr. Around 4 bowls or so worth of mixture total. Today I will smoke this and complete the rest of my open #25, the rest of the John Marr, and all the rest of the Milan's Our Prince Albert from darktater . I've got to kill off many open blends. Open in this sense meaning they're in sandwich bags and not mason jars.

Captain Rev. In a Walt MM CG after wife and started organizing and putting stuff in donation box and throwing stuff away. Putting like things together. She started it this morning. Her rubber boots had a hole so I cleaned up two pair in the garage and brought then in for her and chucked the leaky pair.

Sorry to hear that, Perry. It's going around heavy everywhere this season. Hope you enjoy the first smoke after a long break.
I'm still continuing on with the last couple bowls of that previous mixture in various cobs. Almost done with it after getting back from a walk with my daughter on this bright sunny afternoon. 23 degrees.

GH Broken Flake #7 in a Kaywoodie bully. Seltzer with a dash of bitters. It's above freezing, so I count my blessings. Wrapped up in a hippie blanket, it's not so bad.

My Saturday began with Storm Front in a Genod bulldog with coffee on the side. As the morning went on I went to work cleaning and reaming a few pipes. I used Everclear and Red Rouge compound on the stems and a T-handle reamer and Everclear tinted pipe-cleaners on the inner stem and stummels, then a hand buff with a lemon/carnauba wax combo over the whole pipe. After six or seven pipes, I retired to the easy chair with a B.C. billiard and Captain Black Royal, with James Taylor's October Road on the ole music box, plus some Old Grand Dad & Coke. Then steak and eggs for an early supper, and now it's bedtime...nite-nite.

Out and about this late afternoon and evening, packed Big'n'Burley and the Saturday cob for company. Once at home, had a bowl of Orion's Arrow. Now, I'll have a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob with an adult beverage. Early night, I think.

Sounds like a six hour day! 😝 I guess it does , but I left out things like...took a shower, emptied the dishwasher, played with the dogs, rearranged the pantry, had three phone calls, did some prep-work for today's meal, spent an hour at the patch...you know , all the little things that nobody wants to hear about.
