Yeah, Jeff Beck is quite amazing. He has the ability I can only dream of. Walk into Guitar world and do a single man flash mob… pick up a guitar, deliver the freight. Watch everyone watch in amazement… saunter out with yeah… “I am the baddest in the room” attitude.😉

A couple of traditional Irish jigs (performed by non-Irish guys).

I was just turned on to a Midwest band called Genetics. Not to be confused with Genetics, a Genesis cover band from Argentina. I have no idea how to pigeon hole them. Instrumental post-rock funk prog psychedelic jamband? I can't find them on the Tube. Here's a set from the Archive. Genetics July 26, 2018

I was first introduced to early music in college. Loved it ever since. Thanks for posting that. I have always been a lover of stringed instruments. There is a luthier in London who builds a wide variety of Medieval/Baroque/Renaissance stringed instruments. You might enjoy browsing her website. www.dusepo.co.uk

Got tickets to see Aussiefloyd with my kids in August today. They are endorsed by the original PF band, and they nail it. Probably coming to a town near you! aussiefloyd.com/tour-dates

It's amazing how soothing the big Japanese drums can be.

Had a spell of nostalgia for one of my favorite groups from the late sixties and checked out this CD from one of our consortium's libraries. I think I still have the much-played LP somewhere. If you want to listen to the whole album on YouTube, it will be interrupted by ads. That's especially unfortunate with this group; one of their special little touches was their artful transitions between tracks.

I've always blocked all the ads so I don't receive a single ad at any point on Youtube. Yes, ad interruptions are great at killing the whole state-flow of music.
