Truly wonderful lunch! King Oscar mackerel filets with lemon and olive oil over Lundberg brown/wild rice with a goodly squirt of honey mustard dressing. Salt and pepper of course. One of the very best combos ever. I shall return to this often. Highly recommended. Never tried their mackerel. Lundberg Brown was my regular rice for decades until I tried Mississippi Long Grain and then Brad introduced me to Parish Rice. Gonna have to try the mackerel rice combo plate.

Lentil currry for lunch
Refried Pinto Bean Burrito for super. A nice organic green salad with Moroccan Olive Oil and raisin dressing.
Before anyone thinks I am reprising a certain scene in the movie, "Blazing Saddles", let me say that my digestion is used to this diet.

Lately I’ve been concentrating on quick and easy. Lunch today was a venison patty over which I put some Bush’s barbecued beans. Eaten with warm corn tortillas. Reasonably good but nothing special. Sure qualifies for quick and easy though.

Fish sticks tonight...okay, I hear you, but they're still crunchy and tasty. Sides were yellow and green squash with onion, with a dash of hatch green chili sauce added when nobody was looking, plus corn on the cob, hot and buttery. I had a bowl of fresh, chopped cherry tomatoes in olive oil and garlic and fresh herbs, but nobody was interested.
