Taco Bell Mexican Pizza and a taco! 😁 That's odd, all the Taco Bells around here removed Mexican Pizza as an option from the menus long ago, like 2 years ago during the pandemic. Never brought it back. And they told us it was entirely gone from Taco Bell, period.
I guess you haven't watched TV in the past year. They have making a big deal about bringing it back, but we just got them recently. Supposed to be permanent this time.

You guys might get a kick out of this, related to "cellaring" and being our pipe tobacco forum and all. So my mom went on the keto diet a couple months ago and she went full-bore. She asked me a couple weeks back if I would take all her pasta, beans, soups, soup mixes, flour, etc. so I said sure, we'll use it all so long as you're dead set about not using any of it and sticking with your diet. So she gives us close to 100 pounds of pasta and beans, primarily, some canned soups and whatnot. Last night I'd decided I needed to use some chicken breasts thawed in the fridge and I wanted to make this bag of Bob's Red Mill Bean and whole grain soup mix. Sounds great, will make a huge crockpot full to last a few days. Only I start on it this morning, and I look at the bag to notice that it had a sell by date of January, 2014! So, I checked 'em over real good and as you all know, the Bob's Red Mill bags are sealed up really tight. I wasn't even able to squeeze it tightly and make any air leak from the packaging at all. All go. Fired up the crockpot, filled with chicken broth, three chicken breasts, 8 wedged up red tomatoes of various sorts, parsley, garlic powder and garlic salt, a bit of chili powder, and a whole chopped white onion. Long story short, today I opened and fixed a NINE year old well aged bag of bean soup mix from the cellar. 9 years of age, those beans were pretty tasty! Yep, if you keep the weevils out old beans are good.

No, I don't have TV at all (we have Roku devices for streaming Hulu, Disney+, Netflix and downloaded movies as well) and never watch cable or dish type television. Good they're bringing it back!

A Stouffer Lasagna in the oven. Smells good. I have not hand one of these in a long time. Something different! John, Stouffer's are the only good frozen dinners left beside Walmart's Great Value and higher end versions. Stouffer's brought back their classic 70s/80s meat loaf portions and salisbury steak and I swear, those are the only edible brands. If you get even the higher end $5-6 brands the meats are just terrible and rubbery, full of bits of gristle. Thankfully, I kicked my TV dinner habit during the pandemic when I started eating them way too often.

I prefer Michael Angelo's Lasagna but not often available.

Pulled the meat off of a rotisserie chicken from Costco.
Minced red onions, thin celery slices, celery leaves, Mayonnaise and some fresh lemon juice, fresh parsley… tastes really good.
Better tomorrow on toasted Boudin sourdough.
