Borkum Riff Original, in a Butz Choquin billiard. I opened this pouch before Christmas, and after two, or three bowls, I hid it from myself, and it remained in hiding until late this afternoon; moments ago, I decided to take another stab at it. Y.M.M.V., but as far as I can tell this isn't the original B.R. Original I smoked back in the late Seventies. The old blend was at least cheap, and easy to find, and smokable in a pinch. This stuff, even after two months in the open pouch, goes south in flavor, and burns hot, if you forget yourself even for a second. Sip along on it, with just enough care to keep it alight, and the flavor improves, just not enough for me. I ended up with this pouch because I had a coupon that left it just the other side of free, and the Vape/" tobacco " shop near me was out of B.R. Bourbon Whiskey. Next time, I'll light the coupon and use it to fire up a bowl of Bald Headed Teacher!

Mystery plug in a Peterson’s Sherlock Holmes squire.
This might be a two pipe problem to figure out this plug.

Made chili this afternoon, went to visit my dad and stopped at Cabela's for a pair of flannel-lined jeans. During that time I had some Sutliff 1849 in a MM Washington.

Three Friars in the Saturday cob. I've got some stained and rusticated cobs that are unsmoked that I might swap into the rotation.

recently da wifie finally got a phone thing done with a person who actually unnerstands & speaks English, after 3 different people. Why these companies allows emplyees to operate phones with those who speak mostly gibberish escapes me. End of rant!

This pipe, which used to be my Wednesday cob, found its way into the workshop. Refitted with a bamboo shank, blue/green acrylic stem and wire band. Smoking Haunted Bookshop in it.
