Finished the series "Lawmen:Bass Reeves". Excellent production and recommended.
From what I read, if there is to be another season it will not feature Bass Reeves but another lawman. I am hoping for Bill McDonald of the Texas Rangers. Whom do you root for? I think Wyatt Earp and Bill Hickcock have been covered enough. Elfego Bacca is another one I would love to see as a series.

We watched Cocaine Bear yesterday on Netflix just for fun. About 15 minutes into the movie, we noticed that my dog was getting agitated from the sounds of the bear attacking people, so we had to turn the sound down and put her in another room. It was an entertaining movie, but I'm glad I didn't pay to see it at the theater.

John Coffee Hayes or Sam Walker. How about a show for the redemption of Lawman Lee Paige?

A classic! He could star as himself. But first he would have to learn how to speak intelligible English.

John Coffee Hayes or Sam Walker. How about a show for the redemption of Lawman Lee Paige? Wow! But sg@t happens when you least expect it. I was taught gun safety when I was 8, with continuing education. I caught myself breaking 2 rules about 5 years ago. Nothing happened, but I know what could have happened. I'm not going to make fun of someone who just gave a first class exhibit of why it's important.

When that originally happened I remember a transcript of what he was saying, and it was along the lines that “we” (LEOs) were the “only ones” who should have these deadly weapons. The monologue made it even funnier.

John Coffee Hayes or Sam Walker. That would be well received, too.

Well, I still think it was an above average performance for a DEA agent. If it was the ATF, kids would have died.

John Coffee Hayes or Sam Walker. That would be well received, too. Bass Reeves really made the Rangers look bad. Admittedly, a good percentage of them were little more than criminals, but the top guys were great. And it's a big mean world out there. We need the hard men to stand between civilation and the criminal elements.

There is no reason to unholster a loaded gun in that setting. There are fake guns for that. It would be outside the scope of that presentation to show kids how to clear a weapon, or anything related to handling a gun.
Don’t touch a gun, go notify an adult is the prescribed method by Eddie Eagle of the NRA.
“ Limping, he started to bring out another gun to show but the audience protested. He tried to assure them the second weapon was unloaded — as he had claimed when he brought out the Glock — but ended the presentation when the crowd continued to object.”

I am a Life Member and have supported the NRA in the past as well. No more. They are actually doing very little in the courts. Other organizations have picked up the slack and are leading, by a very long way, in that struggle. There are several that are earning my support. LaPierre has been buying expensive suits with my money and who knows what else. He won’t be getting any more of it. If you analyze the tax returns of other organizations you see they operate on almost a shoe-string with the head guys making “poor” money. The donations go to court cases.

I smelled a rat when lifetime memberships were being heavily discounted. Those that put money in do it not for the card to go into the wallet, but for the cause. LaPierre snookered people like Tom Gresham into selling the heavily discounted memberships, all the while chartering jet flights and family vacations.
LP’s grave should be in a dog park, so that dogs can maintain their urine flow. He is so sleazy, he has not had to do the prison time that he deserves.

Some CEO’s are much better at what they do. “ The organization’s Chairman and CEO, Frank Siller, is an uncompensated volunteer. For seven years running, the Foundation has achieved the highest rating, four stars from Charity Navigator, the nation’s largest and most-utilized evaluator of charities.” t2t.org/financials/#pol

The NRA did that to itself. This is the full text of my remarks. Actually, the NRA was having trouble getting Eddie Eagle into the schools long before WLP came along. Patron Life member here, before all the crap started. My money goes to GOA and JFPO.

I watched the first season and first episode of "Reacher" last night after dinner, about 1900. Next thing, it was 0230 and I finished the entire first season. I could not let it go. It was that good. Never before have I spent 7+ hours watching a program or movies. Starting Season 2 this evening but will take it slower... I hope.
