Nice bully. We used to have a member who collected one of the other Stanwell shapes. I can't remember now which one. I can picture it, but can't think of the number.
Do I have 2 of exactly the same shape from the same maker? Hmmm. I don't think so, but maybe. I do have 2 Savinelli 313s, but one is blasted and the other is smooth. Does that count?

I have a couple of cobs that are the same model well and two falcons stems but those have different bowls on them.

It's a really good smoker, Boss. Thanks for asking. Those two pipes are quite handsome...love the stain and the grain.

I bought a smooth Savinelli Venere 128 billiard years ago that came with a filter and adapter that immediately went in the bin. I was so impressed with the way this production pipe smoked that I bought another in the rusticated finish.

I was so impressed with the workmanship and smoking quality of my first Butz Choquin calabash that I have bought three more since I got it. Difficult to find, long out of production. In fact Iβm smoking this one right now. I also developed a soft spot for BC Origine pipes and now have twelve of them, although I only ever smoke the first one I bought.

Yes. Peterson House and Pubs are my go-tos. I have only four so far but they wonβt be the last.

You could probably unload them for a small fortune, or maybe you killed the market altogether.

If I have a pipe I like I want more. Again no 2 are alike but I added my 4th pipe in this artisan collection a couple weeks ago in Chicago with plans for more.

As a Brand/Shape collector itβs very exciting to add that next perfect pipe to the collection. This Dunhill Collector will come via eBay from a collector who recently passed. He was a friend and someone I had a lot of respect for and had a love of all things Dunhill.

There are a couple pipe makers I've dedicated space for. I have 9 from Ron Powell (RDPipes) and 5 from Jason Everett (Cramptholomew).

Not exactly the same, no. And I've reached the point where I'm close to done with pipe buying; I'm 73 and have more than enough, and while my kids (especially one daughter who was fascinated by my pipes when she was small) might like a few to remember me by, I really have no pipe smokers in my life to pass them all to. One possible exception: I have a Peterson 303 in a smooth finish that I'm very fond of, and if I ever see it in sandblast I'll be tempted to pick it up.
