C'est La Vie is described as a French Vanilla blend. Being very moist from the pouch, it required some drying time. After drying a bit, it loaded easily and took the match after a char and a tamp. I did not have to relight throughout the bowl. The french vanilla flavor, to me, was mild but very good. The room note was pleasant and it left just a little moisture in the bowl. I sensed no tongue bite even when pushed. A nice, light change from English blends and aros where the flavoring is more apparent than the tobaccos.

Good review, I’ve smoked a few bowls and I too must say all you tasted was a chemical like vanilla topping......absolutely no flavor from the tobacco. Won’t attempt again!!

Thanks for the review. How much of this have you had? Have you found any inconsistencies from pouch to pouch?

It's not bad, but it's not good enough to keep me smoking it.

It's not bad, but it's not good enough to keep me smoking it. About where I am with this blend. Opened a pouch at camp this past fall and smoked a few bowls, but that same pouch is still lying on my dresser five months later.

I think it's OK. It's not a great blend but is very much what it is and presents itself to be, a basic pouch blend at a basic pouch price. I smoke it from time to time and find it even does well mixing with a few other blends at times. If it cost anymore than it already does it certainly wouldn't be worth it but I purchased one pouch and got my other two for free. I put them all in a jar and once I've smoked through it I don't see myself buying more of it.

I liked it enough to smoke the whole pouch.
I wouldn't buy it again, but it smoked pretty easily.

Never heard of it. I probably won't be able to get it. But hey...that's life.

I found it a decent blend but quite uninteresting.. it was a great addition to my " all things vanilla" jar..

With so many other choices in bulk, I am surprised that such a blend as this makes it to pouch/market. I only see it at P&C.

Nice review. Back in the day when I was in college and we lived in the library with index card catalogs, I spied a hot chick. I calmly sat down across the table from her, scribbled my name and dorm room number on a piece of paper and slid it across to her. She looked at it, smiled, wrote C'est La Vie, slid it back to me, got up and left. Maybe the tobacco would have done it?
Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming...
