Are there any manufacturers using this stuff, other than the Gawiths? I'm still loyal to my DFKs, but I'm really enamored with both Lakeland companies' smoky Virginias. Also, if anyone can point me to information on this leaf's production, it would be greatly appreciated. I am under the impression that it is brightleaf that's exposed to smoke, rather than heat via flue curing. It's chock full of N, it seems, but I wonder if it's pH creates more free nicotine? Like many tobacco related subjects, information is a little murky--sometimes contradictory.
So c'mon tobacco geeks. Edumacate me.

Better than reading it as "virgins." Who knows what we get up to over here!

Huh. That's interesting. I've bought from WLT a long time ago, but I don’t remember seeing this. Thanks!
